Most Common Problems & Solutions
- No power / Won't turn on: Check power cord and circuit breaker; ensure thermostat is not tripped.
- Will not brew / Slow drip: Descale the tank; check sprayhead for clogs; ensure water level is correct.
- Water leaks from bottom: Check inlet valve, tubing, and tank fittings; replace gaskets if needed.
- Coffee too weak: Adjust brew ratio; clean sprayhead; use proper Bunn paper filters.
- Overheating / Coffee too hot: Check or replace thermostat; verify proper voltage supply.
- Warmer plate not heating: Check warmer switch and heating element continuity.
Speed Brew & Home Models
- Long brew time: Heavy scale buildup — descale immediately with Bunn deliming solution or vinegar.
- Noisy operation: Air in the lines — run several brew cycles with water only.
Commercial Models (VP17, CWTF, etc.)
- Timer / Brew volume issues: Reprogram brew timer or check control board.
- Low water flow: Clean or replace solenoid valve and flow control.
Safety note: Always unplug the brewer and allow it to cool before servicing. The internal tank holds very hot water — use caution when draining. Only qualified technicians should service high-voltage components.
